PURVIEW is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with a focus on the Financial Sector to join our prestigious Tier 1 banking client. The project involves the transition of their existing Warrants operations to a new business entity, migrating from local systems to a comprehensive Global Post-Trade platform. The ideal candidate will engage in all phases of the project lifecycle, from gathering requirements from operational teams to translating these into IT functional specifications, as well as participating in testing, migration, and implementation phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an IT Business Analyst, showcasing robust consulting abilities to collaborate with business stakeholders in eliciting requirements and proposing solution alternatives. The successful candidate will excel in converting business needs into technical specifications.
  • Collect business requirements, conduct thorough analyses, and develop corresponding functional specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, developers, testers, and diverse end users to ensure both functional and technical alignment, as well as user satisfaction. Comfort in leading requirements management across multiple regions and flexibility in working hours is essential.
  • Engage in extensive System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles, managing both technology and business stakeholders.
  • Assist in training relevant teams prior to the launch of new business processes, products, functionalities, or applications.
  • Develop implementation strategies, timelines, and go-live plans.

Qualifications Required:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably recent, in Equities Post-Trade platforms.
  • Up to 12 years of overall industry or Business Analyst experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Warrants and related asset servicing components.
  • Experience in managing large-scale projects from inception to completion, including requirements gathering, SIT/UAT, and migration strategies.
  • Proven experience collaborating with technology development teams during the build and implementation phases of requirements.
  • Familiarity with drafting UAT Test Plans and/or Test Scripts, along with overseeing the user testing phase of projects.

Desirable Skills:

Knowledge in the Asset Servicing domain, particularly in corporate actions.

Previous experience working with Finance Teams in the Back Office environment.

  • Experience with Syn Back Office systems.
