Job Title: Head of Health

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Health to lead our Health and Safety team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Health and Safety strategy, ensuring the well-being of our employees and the safety of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Lead the Health and Safety team to deliver a culture of excellence in Health and Safety performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the safety of our employees and the public.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on Health and Safety matters.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a relevant field, such as Health and Safety or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in a Health and Safety leadership role, with a track record of delivering sustained Health and Safety performance improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Current UK/EU driving licence.
