Employee Management Ltd [EML] is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Consultant to join their team. As a trusted partner to their clients, you will provide expert advice and support on a range of health and safety matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide guidance on day-to-day health and safety issues
- Conduct site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards
- Review and prepare health and safety documentation, including policies and risk assessments
- Assist with projects that have health and safety implications, such as relocations or investments in new machinery
- Develop written briefings, reports, and articles on topical health and safety issues
- Design and deliver training programs to promote health and safety awareness
- Thorough knowledge of UK health and safety law and relevant regulations
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confidence in engaging with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Experience in designing and delivering health and safety training
- NEBOSH certificate in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent and relevant academic background
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a qualified health and safety advisory role
- Adaptable and willing to take on diverse tasks and responsibilities
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Effective time management skills to meet deadlines
- Proactive in identifying sales and consultancy opportunities
- Professional demeanor with the ability to put clients at ease
