Guthrie Roberts Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to lead the delivery of our residential development projects in Worcestershire and Herefordshire.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience in project management and construction management, with a strong understanding of construction project management and construction methods. They will have experience in managing projects from pre-contract to post-contract, including contract administration, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and legal obligations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. They will have excellent communication and leadership skills, and be able to work effectively with architects, planners, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of construction projects from pre-contract to post-contract
  • Manage project budgets and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and legal obligations
  • Coordinate with architects, planners, and other stakeholders to ensure project delivery
  • Monitor project progress and identify and mitigate risks
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and CDM requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years experience in project management and construction management
  • Strong understanding of construction project management and construction methods
  • Experience in managing projects from pre-contract to post-contract
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively with architects, planners, and other stakeholders
