We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE & Facilities Advisor to join our team at KP Snacks. As a key member of our site HSE Pillar Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees and the community.
Key Responsibilities- Support the implementation of our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policy and embed ISO requirements through the Intersnack Work System (IWS) HSE Pillar at site level.
- Coach and build capabilities for accident and incident investigations to ensure corrective and preventative actions are identified and implemented.
- Support the site HSE Lead with regulatory authorities and insurers on matters such as Fire Risk Assessments, RIDDOR reporting, Emergency Planning, and Discharge consents.
- Conduct internal Health, Safety, Environmental, and Energy Health checks to ensure legal compliance and support the delivery of the HSE Master Plan.
- Manage day-to-day facilities requirements, including ordering PPE and office supplies, budget control, and site security and access control management.
- Health and safety professional with good manufacturing experience.
- Nebosh Health and Safety Certificate preferred.
- Environmental Qualification - IEMA Certificate desired.
- Excellent understanding of relevant health and safety and Environment legislation/law and how it is practically applied.
- Good influencing skills and experience of working with Safe Teams/Committees to drive improvements in culture and performance.
