The post holder will be a key member of the Academy’s outreach and recruitment strategies and will work closely with the wider Marketing and Academic teams. Working closely and collaboratively with the Student Support & Experience and Marketing teams, the Outreach Officer will support the delivery of key recruitment activities and events such as Open Days, Applicant Days & key recruitment fairs and exhibitions.
**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Outreach Activity Delivery**:
- Plan, prepare and deliver the Academy’s _Progression Package_ - a range of presentations, workshops, summer schools and other activities within schools and colleges to prospective students, parents, teachers, careers advisers and the wider community to raise awareness of careers in the live events and creative industries and educational pathways at the Academy.
- In collaboration with the Student Support & Experience team, ensure outreach activities are highly engaging, inspirational and audience-appropriate.
- Represent the Academy of Live Technology at appropriate student recruitment fairs and high-profile higher education promotional events, particularly where relevant feeder institution relationships are in their early stages.
- Co-ordinate a team of Student & Alumni Ambassadors to represent the Academy at relevant outreach activities and other higher education promotional events across the UK.
- Keeping abreast of industry, educational and outreach needs, updating resources regularly to reflect the industry & education sector as it moves and grows. Including attending and representing the Academy at relevant and wider industry conferences, events, talks & exhibitions.
**Relationship Management**:
- Initiate, develop, and maintain relationships with targeted Education Partners, their students, advisors, and any relevant influencers. Being the key contact for engaging and facilitating all outreach activities.
- Target audiences of prospective students, parents, teachers, and career advisers to raise awareness of career prospects and educational pathways offered at the Academy.
- Delivering outstanding customer service through all communication and delivery touchpoints.
**Recording & Reporting**:
- Record all outreach activities, contacts and data capture in an appropriate database or CRM to ensure accurate record keeping for reporting purposes, quantitative data generation and timely and effective communication is of the highest standard.
- Provide outreach activity reports to the Director of Student Support & Experience and Senior Leadership Team, and any relevant developments and improvements required.
**Communication**:
- Ensure timely and effective communication with Education Partners, students, parents, teachers, and careers advisers.
- In collaboration with the Student Support & Experience and Marketing teams, ensure all outreach activities and leads generated are communicated in a timely and effective manner. This may include reiterating relevant calls to action or requesting feedback on their experience.
- In collaboration with the Marketing team, ensure effective communication of Production Park community events and any external events, where relevant.
- In collaboration with the Marketing team, run an effective and engaging outreach promotional campaign including feeder institution newsletters, event invitations and social media.
**Events**:
- In collaboration with the Student Support & Experience and Marketing teams, support the delivery of key recruitment activities and events throughout the academic year. These may include Open Days, Applicant Days and key recruitment exhibitions.

- To keep ahead of the industry and educational offering and ensure that our activities meet relevant needs and standards.

**SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS**
The post-holder will be expected to work evenings and weekends when required, with time off in lieu.
