About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Manager to join our Logistics team at Ocado Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the delivery operation team, including recruitment, training, and performance management of all spoke drivers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery operation team, ensuring all KPIs, targets, and deadlines are met without disruption to the business.
  • Chair meetings with drivers, including absence, disciplinary, and welfare meetings in line with Ocado policies.
  • Ensure all health and safety measures are in place and followed, and that all training requirements are met and up to date at all times.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to drive site-wide engagement and enhance morale.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual who can shape and drive a world-class employee experience and environment. You will be responsible for ensuring KPIs are a vital focus across your site, including labour turnover, absence rates, and engagement scores.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in conducting formal meetings and understanding and applying relevant policies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and numeracy skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance.
  • Previous experience in a spoke/warehouse or logistics environment.
