Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our logistics policy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing policies that promote the efficient movement of goods and support the growth of the logistics sector.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics and transportation policies, as well as excellent communication and project management skills. They will be able to work effectively with stakeholders, including government, industry, and members, to develop and implement policies that benefit the logistics sector.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement policies that promote the efficient movement of goods and support the growth of the logistics sector.
  2. Work closely with stakeholders, including government, industry, and members, to develop and implement policies that benefit the logistics sector.
  3. Provide expert advice and guidance on logistics and transportation policies to members and stakeholders.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government, industry, and members.
  5. Lead and manage a team of policy professionals to develop and implement policies that benefit the logistics sector.
  6. Monitor and analyze industry trends and developments to inform policy decisions.
  7. Develop and implement strategies to promote the efficient movement of goods and support the growth of the logistics sector.
  8. Provide high-quality reports, consultation responses, briefing documents, speaking notes, and presentations to stakeholders.
  9. Represent Logistics UK at industry events and conferences to promote the organization's policies and interests.
  10. Collaborate with other teams within Logistics UK to develop and implement policies that benefit the logistics sector.
Requirements
