Logistics Team Lead

About the Role
The Spoke Operations Manager is an integral part of Ocado Logistics, responsible for driving efficiency and precision in the delivery operation team. This role requires the ability to manage a team, including recruitment, training, and performance management, as well as ensuring all health and safety measures are in place.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery operation team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Chair meetings with drivers, including absence, disciplinary, and welfare meetings.
- Ensure all KPIs, targets, and deadlines are met without disruption to the business.
- Manage site operations, including ensuring all health and safety measures are in place and followed.
About You
The ideal candidate will have previous management experience, a full and valid UK driving licence, and a passion for dealing with people. Strong verbal and written communication and numeracy skills are a must. Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance are preferred.
