About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Perioperative Care Administration Co-ordinator to join our team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust. As a key member of our perioperative care department, you will play a vital role in supporting the surgical pre-assessment and perioperative medicine team by co-ordinating patients through their pre-operative journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the administrative needs of the service, including booking and outgoing appointments, scanning, telephone calls, and training new starters.
  • Line manage several perioperative care administrators and be responsible for their appraisals and sickness reviews.
  • Support the project manager in administrative developments in the service.
Person Specification

We are looking for someone with experience in leadership within a team and a background in administration. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office and confident in speaking to a number of stakeholders.
