About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at South West Water. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and resolving customer queries in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer queries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Take ownership of customer issues and work to resolve them quickly and efficiently.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer circumstances to enable effective resolution and identify future benefits or requirements.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and affordability plans with customers.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a customer service or credit control environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate.
  • A creative approach to problem-solving and overcoming challenges.
  • A high attention to detail and well-organized with a methodical approach to workload.
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude, embracing the challenges of this role.
  • Good general standard of education with a minimum of GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths.
