Your Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Development: Create dynamic and structured lessons that address a variety of learning styles and communication needs.
  • Collaboration with Leadership: Partner with the leadership team to promote the organization's vision and objectives.
  • Teaching Quality: Strive for excellence in teaching and learning, setting high expectations for student success.
  • Performance Evaluation: Regularly assess and enhance classroom practices, addressing any areas of underperformance.
  • Team Development: Support the recruitment and retention of talented staff, providing comprehensive onboarding for new hires.
  • Community Engagement: Work alongside parents, caregivers, and external agencies to support the holistic well-being of students and their families.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and ready to assist in various capacities to ensure the smooth functioning of the educational environment.
Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status: Required
  • Experience with SEN: Preferable experience with KS3 and KS4 curriculum, particularly for students with ASD and SEMH.
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding: Strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding principles.
  • Relationship Building Skills: Ability to establish supportive and nurturing relationships with students.
  • Adaptive Teaching Skills: Proficient in managing various learning approaches, especially for students with anxiety.
  • Creative Teaching Techniques: Skilled in employing visual methods to engage students who may be reluctant learners.
  • Flexibility: A creative and adaptable mindset towards teaching and problem-solving.
