Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and adaptable Clinical Governance Specialist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a vital part in upholding the highest standards of clinical practice and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain meticulous records and documentation related to clinical governance activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals across various disciplines to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Conduct comprehensive audits and assessments to identify areas for enhancement in clinical processes and procedures.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to staff on clinical governance policies, protocols, and best practices.

Essential Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience in clinical governance within a healthcare setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and guidelines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and data management systems.

Additional Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between multiple sites.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays, and extended hours as required by service needs. This may include weekend duty on a rotational basis (approximately 1 weekend day every 3rd weekend).
