About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Oncology Specialist to join our team at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Oncology team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with urological, lower GI, lung, gynaecological, and non-melanomatous skin cancers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the current delivery of Oncology services, including contributing to the development of these services at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust.
  • Join the existing team to provide specialist care to a growing population of patients and raise departmental profiles through teaching and education.
  • Work flexibly with colleagues to ensure the maintenance of a high-quality service meeting patient needs and to raise departmental profiles through teaching and education.
Requirements
  • Full registration with the GMC.
  • MRCP or equivalent.
  • Fully trained in Clinical Oncology.
  • Previous responsibility for clinical governance and GMC Good Medical Practice.
  • Good practical clinical skills and good communication skills.
  • Experience in research.
