About the Role

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist to join our team as an MSK Physiotherapy Clinical Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, leading a team of physiotherapists and contributing to the development of our musculoskeletal services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to a team of physiotherapists, ensuring high-quality patient care and service delivery.
  • Develop and implement clinical pathways and protocols to improve patient outcomes and service efficiency.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development of our musculoskeletal services, including service redesign and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise and educate physiotherapists, technical instructors, and students to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
  • Substantial experience working as a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist, with a strong track record of clinical leadership and service development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of clinical reasoning skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of clinical governance and its relevance to musculoskeletal services.
