We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team in Hull. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing a team of Warehouse Operatives and ensuring the efficient day-to-day operations of our Distribution Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and motivate the team to meet customer timescales and improve productivity
  • Maintain quality standards
  • Ensure team productivity targets are achieved
  • Provide handover reports to oncoming Shift Managers
  • Ensure inductions are carried out for all new staff
  • Provide training to all staff and contractors to ensure they can undertake their duties effectively, efficiently, and safely
  • Ensure all staff have completed necessary Health & Safety training
  • Manage end-to-end warehouse functions and processes
  • Keep the warehouse safe, clean, and tidy
Requirements
  • Previous supervisory or managerial experience is preferred
  • A good approach to prioritizing daily tasks and keeping a cool head under pressure
  • A common-sense approach to problem-solving
  • Computer literacy
  • Comfortable working to strict deadlines
  • Great communication skills
