Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and motivate the team to meet customer timescales and improve productivity
  • Maintain quality standards and ensure team productivity targets are achieved
  • Provide handover reports to oncoming Shift Managers and ensure inductions are carried out for all new staff
  • Provide training to all staff and contractors to ensure they can undertake their duties effectively, efficiently, and safely
  • Ensure all staff have completed necessary Health & Safety training and manage end-to-end warehouse functions and processes
  • Keep the warehouse safe, clean, and tidy
Requirements
  • Previous supervisory or managerial experience is preferred
  • A good approach to prioritization of daily tasks and keeping a cool head under pressure
  • A common-sense approach to problem-solving
  • Computer literacy and comfort working to strict deadlines
  • Great communication skills
