About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Philanthropy Manager to join our Development Group at the Natural History Museum. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing and managing grants from trusts and foundations to support the Museum's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and identify potential trusts and foundations to support the Museum's philanthropic efforts
  • Craft compelling proposals and applications to secure funding
  • Develop and maintain relationships with funders, prospects, and colleagues to advance the Museum's philanthropic goals
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Philanthropy Manager and other team members to develop and implement the trusts and foundations strategy
  • Provide exceptional stewardship and reporting to funders to ensure strong relationships and future support
About You

The successful candidate will possess a strong track record of securing and managing grants from trusts and foundations, with excellent written and oral communication skills. They will be able to establish productive relationships with a variety of funders, prospects, and colleagues, and work proactively and constructively with colleagues to develop high-quality project proposals.
