As a Clinical Research Specialist, you will be a vital contributor to ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of safety, efficacy, and suitability for global markets. You will collaborate closely with the Medical Affairs Manager and engage in a variety of responsibilities that facilitate the effective management and execution of clinical trials and submissions for development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the design and reporting of essential clinical trials, either directly or through partnerships with Contract Research Organizations (CROs).
  • Implement trial protocols and ensure their timely execution.
  • Gather trial data utilizing both in-house and external specimens as necessary.
  • Process and meticulously document biological samples and cell lines.
  • Conduct laboratory tasks, including biological sample culturing, FISH setup and analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to a designated share of the analytical and practical workload within the Medical Affairs team, utilizing both in-house and external specimens as required.
  • Serve as an external study monitor as directed, coordinating with external clinical sites to gather necessary clinical data.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in a Science-related field, ideally at the MSc level or equivalent.
  • Experience in providing operational insights into clinical and scientific trial design, including protocols, amendments, informed consent forms, study guides, and case report forms.
  • Ability to leverage scientific knowledge for problem-solving and troubleshooting technical laboratory challenges.
  • Experience working in a Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage workloads effectively under tight deadlines.
  • High adaptability and motivation, with the capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in following detailed processes accurately.
  • Familiarity with cytogenetic processing methods and FISH analysis is desirable.
