The Opportunity

Abbott, a leading healthcare company, is seeking a skilled Customer Service Specialist to join its Rapid Diagnostics-Toxicology business in the UK. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing customer relationships, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with major customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Coordinate customer testing bookings, control requests, and on-site collections to maximize customer testing quotas.
  • Provide regular customer and management reports to inform business decisions and drive revenue growth.
  • Oversee and monitor customer invoicing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Respond to customer complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Manage drug testing requests, accurately recording special requirements and ensuring compliance.
  • Support the Sales Department with new customer onboarding, welcome calls, and account setup.
  • Attend customer setup and review meetings to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Contribute to new projects, processes, and initiatives that drive business forward.

Required Qualifications

  • National standards education.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Intermediate IT skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A self-motivated, organized, and positive individual with a flexible approach to work.
  • Previous experience in a customer service office-based role.
