Hays Accountancy & Finance is partnering with a leading charity in Gloucestershire to recruit a skilled Management Accountant.
Your Key Responsibilities- Prepare and present quarterly management accounts, including accruals and prepayments, and process journals.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and provide reports on grants.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and manage the nominal ledger and control accounts.
- Support and supervise the transactional team, overseeing sales and purchase ledgers and transactional processes.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow forecasting.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting for financial management and variance analysis.
- Experience in a similar position.
- Strong communication skills to build internal and external relationships.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and comfort using a range of financial systems.
- Proactive and hands-on working approach, with a quick learning ability.
- Qualification by experience or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manipulate data to provide useful financial information.
- A competitive salary between £35,000 - £40,000 per annum or pro rata, dependent on experience.
- Full-time hours of 35 per week, with a split of remote and office hybrid working.
- Flexible start and finish times and study package on offer if applicable.
- Contributed pension scheme and development and progression opportunities.
