HOURS PER WEEK:
45 hours from Monday to Friday.

We are seeking dedicated and proactive 'Facilities Maintenance Operatives (Single Site Responsibility) & Multi-Site Facilities Maintenance Operatives (responsible for up to 3 locations) to become part of our Facilities Management Team.

Our Facilities Maintenance Operatives are tasked with performing minor general maintenance and operational support duties, as well as Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and general reactive tasks across various locations.

Reporting to the Multi-Site Technician, appropriate training will be provided as necessary to ensure proficiency in completing the following responsibilities (this list is not exhaustive):

  • Execution of weekly and monthly scheduled maintenance activities (including fire alarm call point tests, water temperature assessments, shower spray head cleaning, and chlorination).
  • Minor repairs to building fabric.
  • Basic decorating responsibilities.
  • Minor plumbing tasks and repairs.
  • Basic joinery tasks and repairs.
  • General ad-hoc maintenance duties.
  • All tasks performed in accordance with our Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
Proficiency in IT would be advantageous (not requiring programming skills, but familiarity with using a tablet, word processing, spreadsheets, and email is beneficial) along with strong communication abilities.
