Candidate Requirements
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Background in electro-mechanical maintenance within a large-scale industrial setting
  • Proficient in the installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics
  • Relevant qualifications such as NVQ, Diploma, or Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 18th Edition certification is a plus
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct scheduled and emergency maintenance on equipment, ensuring minimal downtime
  • Repair and maintain electrical, electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Implement preventative maintenance protocols on machinery
  • Utilize hand and power tools safely; after training, operate aerial lift equipment and adhere to safety standards
  • Diagnose electrical failures, document issues, and propose corrective actions
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as motor checks and contact replacements
  • Knowledge of PLC systems is advantageous
  • Install and replace electrical cabling and conduits as necessary
  • Exhibit strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Work alongside team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Interpret and utilize various electrical schematic diagrams
  • Assist in operations as needed to maintain workflow and quality standards
  • Ensure a safe and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols
  • Engage in meetings and collaborative efforts to stay informed on developments and compliance requirements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
