As a crucial member of the maintenance team, your contributions will be vital to the operational success of the plant. You will engage in both proactive and reactive maintenance activities, collaborating with fellow engineers in a structured shift pattern that includes both day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding electrical engineering support to minimize production downtime.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance with attention to detail and foresight.
  • Efficiently manage spare parts to balance cost-effectiveness with operational readiness.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Guide apprentices and trainees, promoting a culture of growth and learning.
  • Maintain the highest safety standards by proactively identifying and addressing potential risks.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A recognized engineering apprenticeship (NVQ, BTEC, or C&G) is required.
  • A multi-skilled background with a strong emphasis on electrical engineering.
  • Experience with Siemens S7 and ELAU controls is advantageous.
  • A proven ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines is essential.
