We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team at MDE Group UK. As an Industrial Electrician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our factory by providing planned preventative and predictive maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance repairs of equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Emergency Response: Attend to emergency repairs during unplanned shutdowns to minimize disruption to production.
- Electrical and Mechanical Expertise: Repair and maintain electrical, electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic devices, as well as perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Identify and resolve electrical failures, report conditions, and recommend corrective actions.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and apply continuous process environment principles.
- Technical Qualifications: Hold a formal technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, such as NVQ Level 3 / C&G Level 3 Electrical, HNC, or equivalent.
- Industrial Plant Knowledge: Possess a good understanding of industrial plant and process equipment.
- PLC Knowledge: Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is an asset.
- Competitive Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum.
- Annual Leave: 23 days (increasing with service).
