Job Title: Head of Sales UK&I

QLM Search is partnering with a leading North American beverage group to expand its footprint across the retail channel in the UK and Ireland. To lead this growth, they have created a Head of Sales role. This is a hands-on position with full accountability to deliver this growth, from £0-10m.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a commercial strategy within the assigned cluster of countries to build the brand and drive long-term growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail customers to gain listings, share of shelf, and brand visibility within top grocery key accounts.
  • Collaborate with local distributors to execute the strategy, maximize portfolio distribution, and in-store visibility.
  • Manage the local promo strategy and customer P&L, delivering against sales, margin, and profit targets.
  • Cooperate with US stakeholders to ensure the business meets their needs and drives customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to create new business opportunities and develop strategies to maximize sales potential.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal departments, including marketing, operations, finance, human resources, and supply chain, to ensure alignment and collaboration across the business.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales promotions, marketing campaigns, and product launches.


Qualifications:
  • Proven experience operating as a Head of Sales within a challenger branded beverage manufacturer.
  • Long track record of delivering growth in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to create, build, and maintain effective partnerships with key retailers, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of the S&OP cycle and ability to interact with Supply Chain, F&A, IT, to build an effective sales process and top customer service level.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and customer insights to identify new business opportunities.
