About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless movement of goods across global markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • International Shipping Coordination: Coordinate and monitor international shipments from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, forecast demand, and ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
  • Logistics Process Improvement: Implement and improve logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Freight Forwarding and Customs: Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and suppliers to resolve any issues related to shipping and logistics.
  • Shipping Documentation: Prepare and maintain shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
  • Client Communication: Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to meet client requirements and resolve any delivery issues.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sectors.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and incoterms.
  • Skills: Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite, excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Education: A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
