About the Role

The Fashion Retail Academy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fashion Retail Educator to lead and develop our Level 4 Fashion Business course. As a Group Lead, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional teaching, learning, and assessment experience for our students.

The course provides an in-depth look at the fundamental functions of the fashion industry from head office to shop floor. You will lead and develop successful and innovative pedagogy, with a focus on high standards and best possible student outcomes. You will be accountable for the success of the students in your groups and support, challenge, and stretch their achievements.

As a Fashion Retail Educator, you will be responsible for delivering hands-on practical learning as well as relevant theory and context. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of educators and contribute to the development of our curriculum.

About You

  • You will have a multi-disciplinary background and in-depth knowledge of best Learning, Teaching, Assessment, and Feedback practices or have expert, contemporary industry knowledge.
  • You will be creative and enthusiastic with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You will have an innovative and open-minded approach to curriculum design and development.
  • You will have outstanding current knowledge of subject areas and the Fashion Retail landscape.
  • You will have teaching experience within an educational setting (ideally Post-16) or willingness to complete a teaching qualification course upon appointment.
  • In addition, you must be committed to the development and progression of all learners.

Part-Time - From £17, to £18, per annum (FTE 0.)
