About the Role
The Fashion Retail Academy (FRA) is seeking a Senior Lecturer to join its Higher Education team. The FRA has been innovative in its approach to Higher Education, offering accelerated degree programmes that are unique within fashion business education in the UK.
The Senior Lecturer will be responsible for planning, organising, and delivering exceptional teaching activities for their module, ensuring every student receives the highest quality teaching, learning, and feedback. They will lead on the delivery and creation of industry-relevant module content, in line with the course and wider programme objectives.
About You
- You will have a BA/BSc (Hons) Degree in Fashion Business, Buying and Merchandising, Retail, or Management, or a related subject, or comparable Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- A relevant postgraduate qualification, such as a PhD/MA/PGCHE, or comparable CPD, would be beneficial.
- You will have a proven track record in teaching or training, preferably in higher education.
- The ideal candidate will have strong people skills, the ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure the effective development and delivery of the module.
- Creative and enthusiastic, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- An innovative and open-minded approach to curriculum design and development.
- Outstanding current knowledge of the subject area and the Fashion Retail landscape.
- Passionate about driving excellence, including the student experience.
