About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Broker to join our team at Brown & Brown Europe. As a Commercial Account Handler, you will play a crucial role in providing technical, customer relationship, and administrative support to our Account Executives and the wider team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle commercial and corporate-sized risks for prestigious clients across various industries, providing technical support and customer service.
  • Deal with existing business and new business broking opportunities, including servicing client accounts within the renewals lifecycle process.
  • Prepare presentations to insurers, negotiate premiums, process adjustments, and prepare client reports and other documentation.
  • Support Account Executives in achieving their New Business and Renewal targets through proactive administration and customer support.
  • Proactively manage prospect pipelines, provide profiling support, and undertake pre-visit fact finding on behalf of Account Executives.
  • Make client renewal appointments, accompany Account Executives on visits, and prepare detailed Renewal Review reports.
  • Deal with incoming enquiries from clients, insurers, and other third parties in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain an efficient diary system, including age debtors lists, accounts queries, and chasing documentation.
  • Liaise with insurers and other third parties regarding the administration of client's insurance needs.
Requirements
  • At least 2+ years of commercial insurance experience, either broking or underwriting.
  • Ability to handle new business enquiries, renewals, and midterm adjustments of various insurance policies.
  • Excellent understanding of Commercial Insurance products and insurance options.
  • Acturis insurance broking software knowledge is an advantage.
  • Commitment to progress towards Cert CII.
  • Possession of a full driving licence.
