About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for leading on the development and implementation of mental health services that promote recovery and well-being.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Developing and implementing recovery-focused projects that improve mental health outcomes
  • Leading on the development of policies and procedures that promote best practice in mental health care
  • Conducting clinical and managerial supervision to ensure high-quality care
  • Working in partnership with other organizations to promote co-production and service change

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant degree or diploma in professional practice area, e.g., occupational therapy, nursing, social work, or psychology
  • Professional registration and membership of a professional body
  • Post-qualifying experience in mental health, including experience of teaching and training, leading on recovery-focused projects, and specialist knowledge of current best practice
  • Ability to demonstrate compassion, empathy, and kindness in demanding situations, and to work in a team and value lived experience expertise
