About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group. As a key member of our mental health team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the needs of patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Conduct regular audits and evaluations to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years post-professional qualifying clinical experience in a senior clinical position
  • Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ability to analyze complex information and make informed decisions

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience of working in a clinical leadership role
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance, including the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the Mental Health Act 1983 (as amended)
  • Ability to use multimedia materials for presentations in professional, academic, and public settings
