Job Summary

This role is part of our commitment to providing high-quality mental health care services to our community. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health needs.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing emotional support and guidance to individuals with mental health needs
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of care plans
  • Providing training and supervision to untrained staff and students
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with community partners and stakeholders

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registered Nurse (Mental Health) qualification
  • Mentorship in Practice Qualification
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Band 5 mental health professional
  • Experience of receiving clinical supervision
  • Multi-disciplinary networking skills
  • Ability to devise, implement, and evaluate care plans
  • Experience in monitoring untrained staff and students
  • Ability to supervise others' work
  • Basic IT skills
  • Demonstrable skills in written and spoken English
  • Able to meet contractual requirements and participate in 24-hour care
