Role Overview:

The Senior HR Generalist will play a pivotal role in ensuring that organizational leaders remain accountable for their workforce by offering guidance on HR policies, people management, and career progression. This position will leverage data analytics to assist the business in making informed decisions based on trends derived from data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage actively in national HR initiatives to promote standardized processes and enhance the development of HR policies across the UK.
  • Assist management in handling employment and employee relations issues, including conduct and capability, grievances, disciplinary actions, workforce reductions, restructuring, and health-related matters. Recognize regional employee relations trends and aid in their resolution.
  • Collaborate with HR's Centers of Excellence to implement large-scale HR projects, ensuring adherence to the HR model throughout all activities.
  • Support divisional HR Business Partners and Leaders in strategies that influence the attraction, motivation, development, and retention of employees within the UK North Region.
  • Participate in Practical Process Improvement initiatives to identify enhancements and cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Management, Economics, or a related field.
  • CIPD Level 5 certification.
  • Previous experience in various HR functions, including talent acquisition, management, compensation, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Preferred experience in a manufacturing environment or during periods of rapid growth.
  • Comprehensive understanding of labor and employment laws and regulations, along with HR concepts as an advisor to the business.
