We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Perinatal Mental Health Team at Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist psychological services to women and their families experiencing mental health difficulties during pregnancy, the postnatal period, or following loss.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychological assessment, formulation, and treatment to individuals and families experiencing complex mental health presentations.
- Develop and implement systemic approaches to working with partners and the wider family, including signposting to other services as needed.
- Contribute to the development of psychologically informed trauma-focused care within the team and maternity services, including supervision, training, and research.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care pathways and effective service delivery.
The Perinatal Mental Health Team is a dynamic and passionate group of professionals dedicated to providing high-quality care to women and their families. We work closely with maternity services, other healthcare providers, and community organizations to ensure comprehensive support and treatment.
Requirements- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Eligibility for British Psychological Society (BPS) Chartered Status
- Ability to meet travel requirements of the role
- Experience of working with complex mental health presentations, particularly in perinatal mental health
- Specialist knowledge of current legislation and guidance for clinical practice and professional management in perinatal mental health
