Position Overview: Voids Manager

Golding Homes is seeking a Voids Manager to oversee our Voids team, ensuring a high-quality, customer-focused voids service. This role is pivotal in guaranteeing that our properties are maintained to the highest lettable standards, ultimately enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Voids team to deliver an exceptional voids service that prioritizes customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure that properties meet the lettable standards established by Golding Homes in a timely manner.
  • Support the organization’s mission to provide outstanding housing solutions through effective management of the Voids process.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Significant experience in a senior leadership role within a reactive maintenance environment, particularly in a Housing Association.
  • A proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams in Reactive Repairs and Voids.
  • Experience managing subcontractors through formal contracts (JCT/NEC) and handling customer complaints effectively.
  • Strong technical knowledge in repairs and maintenance, along with experience in minor works job costing.
  • A minimum of HNC/HND in construction or a related field; CIOB or RICS qualifications are preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, demonstrating a high level of customer care and effective leadership capabilities.

Working Conditions:

This position offers a 40-hour work week with a competitive annual salary of approximately £55,000, commensurate with your skills and experience. The role involves travel to various properties, ensuring a diverse and engaging work environment.
