The Role:

We are currently in search of dedicated and knowledgeable Lead Support Practitioners to join our innovative setting for adults with Autism. This position presents a remarkable opportunity to leverage your specialized expertise in a unique, person-centered environment tailored to meet individual needs. The role involves working closely with service users during the day, implementing highly structured individual activity programs within a safe living and working space, and participating in a comprehensive professional development plan to enhance your expertise in the field.

The Service:

Located in a purpose-built facility, our specialized setting consists of three adapted bungalows, each providing private, tailored accommodations for residents. We are committed to offering a service that caters to individuals with unique and complex needs, ensuring they receive the appropriate support to thrive.

  • Each resident enjoys completely separate living quarters, including their own bedroom, living area, kitchen, bathroom, and garden.
  • Specialized safety features are integrated throughout the setting, including reinforced furniture and high-tech medical monitoring equipment as necessary, with dedicated staff areas to maintain privacy and independence.

Role Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience in a care environment.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar specialized setting (working with adults with Autism, learning disabilities, or complex behavioral needs) is preferred.
  • Possession of or willingness to obtain a Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • A valid UK driving license with a willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
