About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Stroke Support Coordinator to join our team in the Salford area. As a key member of our Stroke Recovery Service, you will play a vital role in supporting stroke survivors and their families to rebuild their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized support and guidance to stroke survivors and their carers, helping them to navigate the recovery process and make informed lifestyle changes.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of volunteers to support service users and the delivery of the service.
  • Work closely with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support and care for stroke survivors.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local communities and organizations to promote the service and raise awareness about stroke recovery.

About You

We are looking for an individual with a caring profession and experience in supporting people with disabilities. You should have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A strong understanding of the stroke recovery process and the needs of stroke survivors and their families is essential.
