Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our integrated stroke team at Bury Care Organisation. The successful candidate will have a strong background in stroke rehabilitation and be able to work autonomously in a dynamic and supportive team environment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care to patients with stroke-related conditions, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop effective treatment plans to promote patient independence and mobility.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in service development activities to improve stroke care services and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members to ensure high-quality care and promote professional development.

Requirements
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Occupational Therapist.
