Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our integrated stroke team at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with stroke-related conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist occupational therapy services to patients with stroke-related conditions.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and evidence-based guidelines to provide the highest level of care.
- Registered Occupational Therapist with a degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy.
- Proven experience in stroke rehabilitation and specialist occupational therapy services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
