Occupational Therapist Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Cygnet Hudson Hospital, Bury. As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of occupational dysfunction for service users in our male Secure Mental Illness and Personality Disorder Service.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support service users develop their skills and move through our clinical model of care from admission to discharge. In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will also hold leadership and management responsibilities for the Occupational Therapy service on your allocated ward.
About the TeamCygnet Hudson Hospital, Bury is a therapy and recovery-focused service providing assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for both men and women. Our secure services aim to effectively progress service users through the secure care pathway, into the least restrictive environment possible while reducing the possibility of readmission.
As a member of our Occupational Therapy Directorate, you will be part of a large team supporting over 150 Occupational Therapists. You will have the opportunity to participate in service model development, utilise the expertise of our clinical lead occupational therapists, and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice and occupational therapy pathways.
