Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented professional to join our Marketing Team. This role involves working alongside brand and marketing team members to develop our Financial Services sponsorship and partnership strategy. Furthermore, this position requires coordination across the organization to ensure that all sponsorships and partnerships, whether sourced centrally or locally, align with our strategic goals and deliver exceptional value. Implementation and activation must adhere to brand and commercial best practices. Additionally, the role encompasses managing and evaluating our national initiatives hospitality properties and merchandise program to maximize their business value.

As a Partnerships and Merchandise Strategist, your duties will include:

Collaborating with the brand team to formulate a Financial Services sponsorship and partnership strategy Partnering with business stakeholders to identify new sponsorship and partnership opportunities aligned with priorities and assess these opportunities based on an established framework and budget Ensuring sponsorships and partnerships are activated to yield maximum value for the brand and the organization, supporting colleagues in delivering that activation Overseeing ticketing for our owned hospitality initiatives, enhancing the framework for driving and measuring outcomes from this activity Developing a refined approach to evaluate the impact of our sponsorship and partnership activities and reporting on these efforts with recommendations for enhancements Reviewing our inventory of branded merchandise to identify the most effective and cost-efficient items for use.

Qualifications for Success

To excel in this role, you should possess:

Experience in managing sponsorship properties Expertise in marketing and brand strategy Skills in sponsorship and partnership activation Budget management experience with a proven track record of enhancing marketing effectiveness Significant experience in marketing or sponsorships

Desired Competencies

Strong organizational, planning, and stakeholder management abilities Excellent communication skills are essential Experience in managing senior stakeholders Relationship-building skills with a focus on collaboration with internal teams Results-oriented mindset, meeting deadlines and targets Creative and strategic marketing capabilities

Professional Qualifications and Education

Relevant marketing or industry professional qualifications are desirable but not mandatory A university degree is preferred but not essential
