Job Description

Solirius Consulting is a leading independent software and technology consultancy that delivers innovative digital solutions to clients in the public and private sectors.

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Senior Bid Writer to join our People and Operations Practice. As a Senior Bid Writer, you will work closely with our Senior Leadership Team and Account Managers to manage the allocation of commercial opportunities to internal teams and support them in the development of winning written proposals.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage bid responses, ensuring accuracy, alignment with client requirements, and consistency of style and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop bid responses, including Subject Matter Experts to answer detailed technical questions.
  • Track bids in progress, outlining potential risks and benefits, and collating feedback to provide points for improvement.
  • Evaluate incoming bid opportunities against company criteria, managing bid tenders and distributing them to the appropriate departments and teams.
  • Participate in bid strategy sessions to understand client requirements and competitive landscape.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong degree in any discipline, particularly where analyzing information and developing written conclusions forms a significant part of the syllabus, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with an ability to successfully engage with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to write reports, proposals, and other written content.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to analyze and condense large amounts of information.
  • Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word and Excel) and Google Suites.
