As a Senior Bid Writer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business with bid writing, delivering compelling content that aligns with our company's brand, position, and processes.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a team environment, supporting the business with bid writing, and contributing to the growth and success of our company. As a Senior Bid Writer, you will be responsible for:
- Day-to-day support of the business with bid writing, delivering high-quality content that meets our company's standards.
- Leading on and managing tender kick-off processes, ensuring seamless execution.
- Collaborating with a Bid Co-ordinator, providing training and guidance when required.
- Developing and delivering standard content, including CVs, case studies, capability statements, and project profiles.
- Conducting research on regional regulatory requirements, project scope, works instructions, and client strategy documents.
- Creating compelling, factual, and focused executive summaries and marketing content.
- Reporting directly to senior management on business risks, including those identified in RFPs.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in writing and understanding bids and proposals within an engineering/facilities/construction environment.
- Familiarity with reading and understanding requirements from high-level RFPs/RFIs/EOIs.
- Public sector procurement knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clearly for an international audience.
- An eye for detail and a strong understanding of business processes.
