Henlee Resourcing & Consulting Ltd is collaborating with a well-known and highly successful retail business to recruit a Learning and Development Consultant on a permanent basis.

Job Summary

We seek an individual to support the Learning and Development team in defining and delivering continuous training solutions, aimed at developing both new and existing retail employees and managers, while ensuring consistent customer excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify Development Gaps: Analyze business needs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and Deliver Training: Create and implement end-to-end development support plans, including coaching and mentoring.
  • Manage Stakeholders: Inform and manage stakeholders on planned support and learner progress.
  • Enhance Leadership Skills: Coach management to enhance leadership and management skills.
  • Analyze Store Data: Analyze store data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support Induction and Onboarding: Support managers in delivering a robust induction and onboarding process.
  • Deliver Performance Reviews: Assist in the delivery of effective performance reviews, 1-1s, and PDPs.
  • Design and Develop Learning Content: Design, develop, deliver, and evaluate quality blended learning content and resources.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering training and development programs in a retail environment. They will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills, able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders. Flexibility to travel, with regular overnight stays, is essential.
