Job Title: Clinical Nurse - Research Transition

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Nurse to join our team at Panthera Biopartners. As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring that nursing activities related to clinical trials are undertaken following Nursing and Midwifery Council guidelines and as per Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage nursing activities relating to clinical trials from start-up to close-out, working to ICH/GCP guidelines
  • Attend site initiation visits (SIV) for new studies and stay up-to-date with changes to study protocols
  • Perform patient interest visits (PIVs) effectively, with knowledge and understanding of study protocols
  • Keep patients engaged with the study at each visit to optimize patient retention
  • Collect and verify study data, entering it into source notes, CRFs/eCRFs, and associated paperwork with high accuracy
  • Promote a welcoming, professional, and pleasant environment for staff and participants
  • Ensure timely and efficient resolution of data queries
  • Initiate emergency reactions when required at site for patients or staff
  • Review and regularly check the emergency trolley
  • Perform laboratory duties on each study, if required
  • Comply with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and stay up-to-date with training, SOPs/COPs, and regulatory standards
Requirements:
  • NMC Registration with no limitations to practice
  • 2+ years post-registration experience
  • Clinical research experience (desirable)
  • Ability to work in a team within a multidisciplinary environment with minimal supervision
  • Patient-focused attitude
  • Self-motivated and excellent organisational skills

We offer a competitive salary of £32,500.00-£37,500.00 per year, plus a bonus scheme, performance bonus, and quarterly bonus. Our benefits include company events, company pension, employee discount, life insurance, on-site parking, private dental insurance, private medical insurance, and sick pay.

This is a full-time position, working 8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with no weekends. The normal working hours are 8:30am - 4:30pm, although flexibility may be required to accommodate patient visits and assessments outside of these hours.
