About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Community Public Health Nurse to join our team at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Community Public Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to children and young people in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the safe and effective delivery of the 0-19 service within the caseload and as delegated by the Specialist Community Public Health Nurse.
  • Work in partnership with children, young people, families, primary care, schools, and statutory and voluntary services to facilitate health-enhancing activities and improve health outcomes.
  • Deliver services to children and families within schools and community settings.
  • Adhere to Safeguarding policies and actively engage in safeguarding processes and meetings under the supervision of a SCPHN.
  • Develop, participate, and maintain interagency networks.
Requirements
  • First Level Registered Nurse or Midwife qualification.
  • Practice assessor/supervisor qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Competent knowledge and skills in IT packages, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
