Job Overview:

The Spectrum Licensing team offers essential regulatory guidance to individuals and organizations seeking Wireless Telegraphy Act licenses. These licenses are crucial for ensuring effective wireless communication throughout the UK, facilitating the operation of mobile devices, Wi-Fi, radio communication tools, and various other wireless technologies.

Role Purpose:

Your primary responsibility will be to enhance the licensing experience for our clients and stakeholders. This role encompasses various functions, including responding to inquiries via email, live chat, and written correspondence. You will ensure a high-quality customer service experience while accurately processing license applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate within a team to manage licensing cases and applications, adhering to established performance indicators.
  • Deliver professional customer service and maintain effective communication, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work cross-departmentally with internal teams to ensure a seamless licensing process and contribute to improvements in the overall licensing experience.
  • Utilize various computer-based systems and applications to manage and process Spectrum Licenses.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and relevant organizational gatherings as required.

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Proficiency in various computer applications and systems is necessary for daily operations.
  • A solid understanding of regulatory requirements is vital due to the nature of the role.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Accountability: Self-motivated and enthusiastic, with the capability to prioritize and organize tasks efficiently.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage workload effectively, balancing immediate needs with long-term objectives.

Qualifications:

  • A pass in English language and mathematics at GCSE level is required.

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience with Salesforce, Workday, or similar systems is advantageous.
  • Experience in handling customer inquiries over the phone is preferred.
