About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Account Executive to join our team at Phocas. As a Sales Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and qualify new business leads through various channels, including industry events and referrals.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly sales quotas.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably in the software industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
Desirable Skills
  • Previous experience in sales methodology training, such as SPIN or Challenger.
  • Experience in business intelligence, accounting technology, and ERP solutions.
  • Prior experience selling and/or working within our target markets, such as manufacturing, distribution, retail, and services.
