About the Role:

The Broker Operations Specialist will be responsible for delivering a full range of broker support services to the business community and liaise with internal teams to facilitate business through Liberty Specialty Markets.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Preparation and processing of business proposals, contracts, and associated documentation
  • Liaising with underwriters, clients, and other stakeholders
  • Supporting new business development activities
  • Collaborating with other teams within Business Support to achieve business objectives

About the Department & Team:

The team is responsible for facilitating the transaction of business between overseas offices and Liberty Specialty Markets, direct clients and the company, and between departments.

It also provides the broking interface to support the transaction of facilities for third-party coverholders, the Service Company Underwriting Authorities, the placement of outwards reinsurance, and the placement of intra-group business underwritten by Liberty Specialty Markets.

Facilitates the production of technical transactions via internal systems for payments settled directly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and processing of business proposals, contracts, and associated documentation
  • Liaising with underwriters, clients, and other stakeholders
  • Supporting new business development activities
  • Collaborating with other teams within Business Support to achieve business objectives

Skills and Experience:

  • Lloyd's/London Market experience preferred in a similar or broker support role
  • Solid technical knowledge of business systems, services, and software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to professionally and confidently interact with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts
  • The ability to forge new relationships with other teams within the company group
